Historically, the majority of eligible voters sit out the primary and then wonder why they have to hold their nose to vote in the general election.

Despite record turn out in the 2020 general election, only 24% of eligible voters participated in primaries. That's 24% of the electorate having an outsized impact on the general election. But, hey, don't blame them, join them.
